Un serious game pour découvrir et mieux comprendre les ITSS (Infections Transmissibles Sexuellement et par le Sang)

C'est quoi une ITSS? Comment m'en protéger? Est-ce que je suis à risque? 


Pour tous les jeunes de 12 ans, en plus d’être un outil d’éducation et de prévention, ce jeu stimule les compétences des jeunes en résolution de problèmes, les sensibilise aux conséquences des ITSS et les encourage à adopter des comportements sexuels responsables afin de se protéger contre les ITSS. Il met également l’accent sur les bienfaits de la consultation d’un médecin et sur l’importance de la communication avec son partenaire.

A video Game about Energy Demand Management

The Energy Planner Game is designed to educate people on different power generation technologies in an entertaining way.
It allows the player to take custody of a virtual city’s power plan and seek a balance between the most efficient technologies currently available and the most environmentally friendly ones. Players must also take into account the varying costs of production of the different technologies and face the challenge of maintaining an economically viable mix of all of these elements.

Serious Games which are aimed at helping children with cerebral palsy

Flinders University researchers have created a number of Serious Games which are aimed at helping children with cerebral palsy. (Please find also Serious Games Enhancing The Rehabilitation Environment – Update)

The research was based on the idea that some children with cerebral palsy experienced a reduced level of sensory perception with their reduced motor function.

“Serious Games developed for motor rehabilitation produce a more engaging and enjoyable method to participate in physical therapy, but lack of variation and a secondary focus on fun limit long-term appeal”, says David Hobbs, Associate Lecturer and PhD Candidate at the School of Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematics.

Jouer en classe, est-ce bien sérieux ?


Une expérimentation d’usages de jeux sérieux par des enseignants et leurs élèves a été conduite dans l’académie d’Aix-Marseille de septembre 2010 à juin 2012 avec un triple objectif:
- mesurer  les  apports  et  les  limites  des jeux sérieux dans les apprentissages,  
- repérer  les  dispositifs  pédagogiques  pertinents  et  lister  les  freins  éventuels,   
- contribuer  à  la  réflexion  au  plan  national en faisant état de retours d’usages. 

Les enseignants ayant participé à l’expérimentation ont répondu à un questionnaire.  86% des répondants ont été satisfaits de l’utilisation des jeux en classe.
